Greetings and a hearty welcome to everyone in this first issue of the new Manfred News! Many of you fondly remember reading the Manfred News, which appeared in the Wells County Free Press and the Harvey Herald in bygone years.
What a celebration this is! Now we can once again enjoy reading the Manfred News. That column is found on page 2. In this debut issue, you will learn about the Manfred history and preservation projects, and how you might be able to help.
Wow! This newsletter is being sent to 200 plus names by postal mail and 50 plus by E-Mail all around the USA. Additional copies will be distributed to The Wells County Historical Society, the Harvey Chamber of Commerce, area churches, and other meeting places.
